01: From Hanoi City to Catba View Hotel = 150 km

From Hanoi to Cat Ba island is 150km and the most convenient and fastest way is the HW 5B Hanoi - Hai Phong to Dong Bai ferry station = 130 km with1,5-2 hours driving. From here take a 30 -minute ferry ride to Cai Vieng dock and continue 25km to Cat Ba town by a private car or taxi. The ferry is every 30 minutes from 06:00 AM to 18:30 PM in winter. In summer all the time one by one from 06:00 until 21:00.

Travel by a shuttle Bus, with the bus companies recommended below: Daiichi Travel offers free pick up in the old quarter of Hanoi and drops off at your hotel/house. the buses are scheduled from Hanoi at 8:00, 10:30,12:30 and 14:30 every day and the price is 250.000 VND/person for one way..Book with your hotel in Hanoi or ask Catba View hotel to book for you.
- By a private car, it is faster and more comfortable and you can depart any time you want with total price = 80 USD for a private car including everthing, the first car from Hanoi to the ferry, ferry tickets and the second one from the ferry to the hotel.
02: From Noi Bai airport to Catba View Hotel
- By a private car = 3 Hours = 90 USD/package trip including everthing, the first car from Noi Bai airport to the ferry, we buy you the ferry tickets and the second car to pick up from the ferry to the hotel.
03: From Ninh Binh (Tam Coc or Trang An) to Catba View Hotel = 200km

04: From Ha Long City or Van Đon airport to Catba View Hotel = 30km

Take a car or taxi to Tuan Chau island. Come to the boat parking area and you will see the ferry. Take a 55-minute ferry ride from Tuan Chau island to Gia Luan dock, the ferry schedules for the winter 07:30; 11:30;15:00. A really good chance to enjoy Halong bay scenery from the ferry with the ticket 60.000 VND/person.

Both options: from Gia Luan dock you take a taxi or private car 30 km through Cat Ba island via Cat Ba national park to the town. Taxi is 300 - 350.000 VND or van 16 seats is 500.000 VND/trip
05: From Hai Phong - Cat Bi airport to Catba View Hotel = 50 km with 2 options:
Option 1: By shuttle bus = 120 minutes = about 6 USD/person

- Firstly, you catch a grab taxi to the BigC supermarket only 3km and 50-60.000 VND, from here the buses on their route pass by and pick up you easily by your name. The bus schedule is 06:30; 08:30; 09:30; 12:30; 13:30; 15:30 plus 10 minutes to your place and the price is 130.000 VND /person, takes 90 minutes
Option 2: By a private car = 90 minutes = 30 USD/car.
- On arrival at the airport, you catch a grab taxi (300-350.000VND) = 30 minutes to Dong Bai Ferry ( Phà Dong Bai), ask taxi driver to drop you at the ferry, get off and buy the ferry ticket (10.000 VND) to transverse (30 minutes). Get on the other side, you take a taxi or ask the hotel to send a private car (300,000 VND) to come to pick up you for 25km to the town – drop at the hotel. Note: The ferry is every 30 minutes and the latest one of the day is at 18:30 in winter and 21:00 in summer.
06: From Catba View hotel to Hai Phong - Cat Bi airport in Hai Phong city
Option 1: By shuttle bus = 120 minutes = about 6 USD/person
- Firstly, ask the hotel to book a bus ticket from Cat Ba town to Hai Phong city, ask driver to drop you at the BigC supermarket. From here you take a grab taxi to Cat Bi airport only 3km and 50-60k VND. The Bus schedule: 06:30; 08:30; 09:30; 12:30; 13:30; 15:30; the bus ride is 90 minutes++ and its price is 130.000 VND/ticket. Option 2: By a private car = 90 minutes = 30 USD/car.
- Ask the hotel to book a private car from Cat Ba town to the airport. By this way, we will book 2 separate cars for you: the first one from the hotel to the ferry (Cai Vieng ferry), at the ferry you will have to buy the ticket (12.000 VND) by yourself to cross the river (the ferry takes 30 minutes), on the other side, an arranged car will take you to the airport.
07: From Catba View hotel to Noi Bai airport in Hanoi City
Option 1: By shuttle bus + taxi = 4 hours ++ = about 17 USD/person
- Firstly, ask the hotel to book a bus ticket from Cat Ba town to Hanoi, ask driver to drop you at the Aeon Mall on Co Linh street in Hanoi. From here you take a grab taxi to the airport only 25km = 30 minutes and 250- 300.000 VND. The Bus schedule: 07:30; 09:00; 12:30; 16:00 the bus ride is 3 hours ++ and its price is 250.000VND/ticket.
Option 2: By a private car = 3 Hours = 90 USD/package trip
- Ask the hotel to book a private car from Cat Ba town to the airport. By this way, they will book 2 separate cars: the first car is from the hotel to the ferry (Cai Vieng ferry), we will buy you the ticket to cross the river (the ferry takes 30 minutes), on the other side, an arranged car will take you directly to the airport. all inclusive
