Day 01: Ha Noi - Cat Ba island

• Around 7:00 – 07:30: our bus will come to pick you up at your hotel/private house for a 1.5/2-hour drive on the HW5B crossing the Red River delta to reach the bridge Tan Vu – Lach Huyen that connects Hai Phong city with Cat Hai island district.
• Cross the sea over the longest bridge in ASEAN to reach the Got ferry station where you will cross the river via a 25-minute ferry trip to Cat Ba island – The sea borderline.
• Drive through the mangroves, then along the coastal road to Cat Ba town, enjoying the spectacular landscape of high limestone mountains alongside the immense sea.
• 10h30 arrive at the hotel, Refresh up or check-in if rooms are available.
• 12h enjoy a welcoming seafood lunch at the hotel.

In the afternoon:

• Independently enjoy swimming at beach Catco 1,2,3 or stroll around to explore Cat Ba town and the fishing port…
• Another option is to walk up 400 steps to visit the monument of the island for panoramic views of Cat Ba town and watch sunset failing into the bay of Lan Ha – the world’s biosphere reserve.
• Late afternoon, enjoy dinner with the delectable flavors of the sea served at the hotel restaurant.
• After dinner, it's only a few steps (100m) to the coast for fresh air and views of the fishing port by night.

 
Day 02: Discover Lan Ha bay – the world's biosphere reserve

• 07h00 Breakfast at the hotel
• 07h30 transfer by car to Beo dock, take a boat trip to explore Lan Ha bay – recognized by Unesco as the world’s biosphere reserve, considered to be a more beautiful bay than Ha Long, with its limestone mountains creating round lagoons and tunnel grottoes in the bay. Here you can go kayaking to explore every nook and cranny of the mountain cliffs. Paddle your kayak beneath a tunnel grotto, visit the floating fishing village or swim at secluded Van Boi beach… (snorkeling is possible depending on the tide)
• Later on, the boat will call on Monkey island for a visit and swimming.
• 12:30 boat back and car back to the hotel for refresh up and lunch.

 
In the afternoon:  

• Independently go swimming at beach Catco 1,3 or Tung Thu beach…
• 19h enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant.
• After dinner, you can relax at the hotel’s top roof bar for views of Cat Ba by night.

 
Day 03: Discover the national park of Cat Ba and Trung Trang cave - Hanoi

• 07h00 Breakfast at the hotel
• 07h30 car to take you 20km to the center of Cat Ba national park.
• Start trekking 2,5 hours through Kim Giao forest up to Ngu Lam peak for panoramic views of the amazing landscapes of Cat Ba island, Lan Ha bay, and Halong bay…
• Trek down to visit Trung Trang cave – the most beautiful cave of the complex on Cat Ba island.
• Afterward, car back to the hotel for refresh and check out the hotel
• Enjoy lunch at the hotel

 
In the afternoon

• 13h30 bus pick up and take you back to Hanoi (if you prefer to stay longer on Cat Ba island, you can take the bus at 15h30 – 16h00)
• After 3 hours you will arrive in Hanoi, and the bus will drop you at where you were picked up.

 
Note: Depending on the weather when you arrive and the number of guests, the tour itinerary can be flexibly organized. Day 2 can be swapped for day 3 first, or vice-versa.

Children applied policies: Children under 5 years old are free of charge. From 5 -11 years old a 50% discount applies. Children aged 12 years old and up are charged the same as an adult.
Extra charge for bus ticket Hà Nội – Cát Bà – Hà Nội for 5-11 years old is 250.000/child.
